Bars
The Campbell (15 Vanderbilt Avenue, just off 43rd Street) - Tucked into the southwest corner of Grand Central Terminal, this iconic bar is one of our favorites! Perfect for a glass of champagne.
Porchlight (271 11th Avenue at 28th Street) - Site of Valerie and Alex’s first date! Don’t skip the sugar & spice popcorn.
The King Cole Bar at The St. Regis (Two East 55th Street, between Madison and 5th Avenues) - This historic hotel bar serves classic cocktails (Valerie’s favorite is the “Best Address”) beneath a famed 30-foot-wide mural by Maxfield Parrish. If there’s no room at the bar, don’t fret — the Drawing Room (formerly known as Astor Court) just next to it is also great.
Aldo Sohm Wine Bar (151 W 51st Street between 6th and 7th Avenues) - A short walk from the MoMA, this casually chic wine bar from Le Bernardin's master sommelier also serves charcuterie, French fare, and lunch.

Museums
The Metropolitan Museum of Art (1000 5th Avenue at 82nd Street) - Make sure to check out the Temple of Dendur, the Carroll and Milton Petrie European Sculpture Court, and The Annenberg Collection.
The Neue Galerie (1048 5th Avenue at 86th Street) - A collection of art and design from early 20th Century Austria and Germany. Be sure to check out Gustav Klimt’s Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer, often called “The Lady in Gold” and which patron Ron Lauder has described as “our Mona Lisa.” For lunch, check out Cafe Sabarsky on the first floor!
The Frick Collection - Following a multi-year renovation, The Frick Collection will reopen to the public on April 17, 2025, just in time for our wedding weekend. Housed in a stunning Gilded Age mansion on Fifth Avenue, the museum features an extraordinary collection of masterpieces by artists, including Vermeer, Rembrandt, and Goya, all displayed in an intimate, immersive setting. A must-visit for art lovers and history enthusiasts alike!

Restaurants
Grand Central Oyster Bar (89 East 42nd Street, near Park Avenue; lower level of Grand Central Terminal) - A true New York institution, the Oyster Bar has an extensive collection of oysters from both coasts and is great for casual get-togethers!
ABC Kitchen (35 East 18th Street, near Broadway) - Seasonal, farm-to-table dishes in a chic, airy space by Jean-Georges.
The Clocktower (5 Madison Avenue, near 24th Street; 2nd floor of the Edition Hotel) - Vaguely British, we love the oysters, the burger, and the cocktails.
JG Melon (1291 3rd Avenue, near 74th Street) - Some say it’s the best burger in New York! Cash only. No reservations.
Zou Zou’s (385 Ninth Avenue, near 33rd Street) - Known for the wood-fired hearth in its open kitchen and its towering ceilings, we especially love the whipped ricotta dip, the green tahini dip, and the grilled chicken Caesar salad!
Sarabeth’s (40 Central Park South, near 59th Street) - Where Valerie and Alex went after their engagement session photos. A great brunch spot — get the popovers and the lemon ricotta pancakes! It does book up quickly though, and we recommend making a reservation in advance.
Serafina (multiple locations) -A great place for a casual meal, Valerie loves the Skinny Pizza, while Alex goes for the Ubah Hot.
